Canned Taco Meat

Ready to heat and eat meals.  TACOS!!!  Our family loves tacos and all Mexican food.  I canned taco meat by adding taco seasoning, dried onions and salt to raw, lean ground beef.  Mix well with hands and put into jars leaving 3/4" head space.  Pressure can at 10 pound pressure for 90 minutes.

Note - All raw canned meat shrinks while processing.

Now place your jars on the shelf till your ready for tacos.  Then open one of those jars, place meat in pan over medium heat and make your tacos.  It couldn't be easier.

Canned taco meat can also be used for enchiladas, taco soup or even a taco salad.  Yum!
