March Gardening

This week we did some garden chores.

Weeded half of a bed and replanted the spinach that was planted in the fall.

Transplanted the tomato starts into larger pots indoors.

And harvested the last of the leeks, carrots and kale

that were added to Turkey Vegetable Soup.

And started 2009 Garden Journal, using a hardbound sketch pad.

I'm also trying to do a little sketching, painting in it for practice.

It can be fun to revive some old skills.
