Truffles for Valentines or Any Good Day!

Chocolate Truffles

(These are the really good ones!!!)

¼ cup butter
¾ cup heavy whipping cream
1-12oz. package semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
2 teaspoons real vanilla

Melt butter over med. heat. Add chips and cream. Stir continuously until melted. Place in refrigerator until semi-firm. Using a small cookie scoop or teaspoon. Scoop out each truffle, rolling into balls. Work quickly. Roll into cocoa powder, chopped roasted nuts, or coconut.

The ones rolled into cocoa had peppermint essential oil added to truffle.

The others are as the recipe states and were rolled into chopped roasted almonds.

Oh my, these are so yummy and rich!!! Easy too!
