This year our green pole beans were choked out by weeds while we were on vacation. Thanks to some wonderful friends, The Ricks, we were blessed to pick their excess. We picked 3 boxes full and canned 30 quarts.
We added a scant 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pressure canned the beans at 10 lbs. pressure for 25 minutes.
We saved some fresh to enjoy too!
