Yakima Produce
This is just a FYI post for those of you in my area.
I just talked to my Yakima produce contact and we will be having produce deals starting the end of June to the end of September. The ordering may change slightly, but pick-up will be on Saturday evenings.
Cherries, Peaches, Apples, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, etc.
Pears this year may be sparse due to weather.
So start getting extra jars and lids. I'm going to purchase some reusable jar lids from:
Tattler Canning Lids
S & S Innovations, Corp
PO Box 373
Fruita, CO 81521

Jackie Clay wrote an article about them in the current issue of Backwoods Home Magazine.

I'll post how I like them.
